From Laura Byrne to Matt Preston: Meet the cast of Dancing with the Stars 2023.

Dancing with the Stars has officially kicked off and we are so excited to see what this year's list of celebs will bring to the show-stopping dancefloor.

As always, fan-favourite hosts Sonia Kruger and Daryl Somers will be back to host a whole new season of twirls and, taps in the world that is tango and we couldn't be happier.

The contestants have well and truly begun swinging and swaying their way to the top, all in the hopes of winning the iconic mirrorball trophy.

So before things heat up let us introduce the stars of 2023, that will be dividing Australia in the weeks to come.

Dancing with the Stars Laura Byrne.

Right off the bat, we have the winner of the 2017 season of The Bachelor Australia and one of the most recognisable faces on the show.

The radio host and mother of two was the first celeb to announce she was joining the show and has expressed her excitement for the upcoming season.

Dancing with the Stars Charlie Albone.

Known for his work with Better Homes and Gardens as their go-to landscaper, Charlie told the morning show he was really looking forward to brushing up his dancing skills.

"I'm not a dancer. I said yes for my kids, to show that you can do something you're not comfortable with and still have fun doing it," said Charlie.

Dancing with the Stars Matt Preston.

Foodies out there will probably know the name, the face and the iconic cravat of Matt Preston.

But for those who need a little refresher, Matt had a long stint as a judge on MasterChef – critiquing amateur chefs on their dishes season after season.

Dancing with the Stars Sally Pearson.

Olympic swimmer and Channel 7News reporter, Sally is joining the list of stars tearing up the dancefloor.

Dancing with the Stars James Magnussen.

There are two swimmers in this year's season, with James joining the cast.

"The hips are loose, the posture is upright and the pearly whites are out – @natalielowe_strictly_fitsteps and I are ready to hit the dance floor," said James on his Instagram.

Dancing with the Stars Virginia Gay.

If you're a fan of Australian TV, you may know Virginia from her role in Winners & Losers and Safe Home.

We're excited to see another side of Virginia in this role of a lifetime.

Dancing with the Stars Christie Whelan Browne.

We're not finished with the actors either! Christie, a theatre actress, has also joined the cast for her crack at the mirror ball trophy. 

Dancing with the Stars Phil Burton.

Human Nature lovers out there will be excited about this one as band member Phil joins the team of dancers ready to shake things up.

The ARIA Award-winning artist Paulini has joined the Dancing with the Stars cast and will probably be one to watch, considering the singer-songwriter rose to fame after her performance on the Australian Idol 2023.

We have a Home And Away star joining the cast of iconic dancers ready to take us by storm, will she be able to steal the show on this season?

Sports fans will be delighted with AFL star Gavin bringing some grit to the ballroom.

Dancing with the Stars Issa Shultz.

Aussies likely haven't seen this side of The Chase star, as Issa plans to be waltzing his way to the top of the Dancing with the Stars table.

Dancing with the Stars Pia Miranda.

Australian actress known for her role as the lead in the film Looking for Alibrandi and stint on Neighbours. Pia is one to watch, as her competitive drive and performing skills ended up winning her a season of Australian Survivor.
