Well those haters better stay away from the playgroup my boys go to...as soon as the dress up clothes come out all the little boys run for the fairy costumes, especially the purple one with red wings and matching long red wig. They're adorable!
My grandson used to dress up in princess outfits because his best preschool friend was a little girl named Coco. He was so "pretty" that he could easily be mistaken for a girl, especially in that princess outfit. Nobody cared; it was just dressup for fun and there was never any doubt as to his boyness. (I do remember us girls sometimes dressing as boys - somebody had to be the prince, for god's sake! - but nobody ever had a fit about that). Can't believe that people still agonize over this crap in the 21st Century. How long before all the sick superstitions and neurotic fear of gays finally disappears?
