'I'm a flight attendant. Here's what I use for budge-proof makeup on a long-haul flight.'

I was recently scrolling TikTok mindlessly (one of my favourite hobbies) when my algorithm proved that it really truly knows me at my core.

I was fed a video by an Emirates flight attendant, who was showing before and afters of a long-haul flight — and I... well, just look, okay?

"This is my makeup before a 14-hour flight, and this is my makeup after my 14-hour flight," said TikTokker Danidboyy1 (aka Danielle) in a video that's been viewed nearly 3 million times.

Watch the makeup tutorial. Post continues below.

"I've just got to my hotel room now. I've had my makeup on for about 20 hours, and I've not done a single touch-up yet — no lipstick, no concealer.

"I've ate, drank and slept in my makeup, and this is how it looks."

You won't be surprised to learn that the comments were filled with people begging her to drop her routine... and bless her cotton socks, she didn't gatekeep. In fact, she posted a Whole Other Video detailing every single product she uses to create a look to last while she flies from one side of the world to the other.

"If you want your makeup to last all day, and by all day, I'm talking like 20 hours-plus, I have the products for you," she said. "I'm a flight attendant, and during some long-haul flights, which can be 17 hours plus, I'm on duty for 20 hours in the same makeup.

"These products are tried and tested and will literally last all day."

"What I think is one of the key features to keeping your makeup on for 20-plus hours is a good primer."

And girl, I couldn't agree more. Danielle's pick? e.l.f Power Grip Primer

"I'm actually preferring the pink colour, rather than the original green colour, and it is literally just a dupe of the Milk primer," she said.

2. Vichy Laboratoires Dermablend Fluid Corrective Foundation 16h, $48.57.

"This is literally my holy grail foundation. This is a Vichy Dermablend. I've been wearing this for, I don't know, like 12 years," says Danielle.

10 out of 10, no notes.

3. NYX Bare With Me Concealer Serum, $22.99, and Huda Beauty Blush Filter, $37.

"The next step is a brightening under eye cream. This just kind of helps all the dark circles and like, the bags from coming through."

Now, here Danielle mentions the Milani Super Charged Brightening Undereye Tint ($44.99) — but if you can't get your hands on this one (it's not widely available in Australia), she has a very clever little hack.

"Recently, because it's been running low, I've been using a combination of a cream blush mixed with concealer," she explains in the vid.

"If you have a cool undertone, then I would say use, like, a cool pink tone." (Danielle's rec is Huda Beauty Blush Filter in Cotton Candy.) "And if you have more of a warm undertone, I would say, go for a peachy kind of colour... [like] the shade Peach Sorbet.

"Use a bit of your concealer and a bit of the cream blush on the back of your hand. Rub it together, put it on and then you put your concealer on top."

See? Clever.

4. Huda Beauty 1 Coat Wow! Extra Volumizing And Lifting Mascara, $40.

There are a billion and one mascaras out there, and I personally am always up for a recco

"I've been using the Huda Beauty 1 Coat [Mascara]," Danielle said. "This literally is just one coat of mascara needed, and they stay curled and it doesn't flake, which is so important." Hard agree.

5. Huda Beauty Easy Bake Loose Powder, and Huda Beauty Easy Bake And Snatch Pressed Brightening And Setting Powder, $66 each.

"These are the powders that I'm using at the moment," Danielle said, holding up two different Huda Beauty prods for the camera.

"This one is just a translucent powder in the shade Sugar Cookie," she added, holding up the Easy Bake Loose Powder.

"Or I have this one here, which is like a pressed powder, and this one is in the shade cupcake."

6. Milani Make It Last Setting Spray, $24.99.

To set it all in place and give the look its 20-hour staying power, Danielle locks the whole look in with a good setting spray.

"I literally douse my whole face in this until it's wet, then I get a little handheld fan [and] let it dry," she said of the Milani Make It Last Original Natural Finish Setting Spray.

"This stuff is amazing. I kind of like a dewy look, especially on flights, because skin is so dry — so the dewier for me, the better."

7. Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink, $23.99.

This is the one we've all been dying for. That lip.

"I've been wearing red lipstick for work as part of my uniform for 10 years, and I recently discovered this, and it has been the Holy Grail. It is the best long wearing lipstick I've ever come across."

Okay, okay... let's have it then!

"It's the Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink." The shade? Pioneer. You're so welcome.

"Here are the products, I hope it helps!" says Danielle. Image: TikTok/danidboyy1.

But it's not just the lippie alone that makes Danielle's pout so impeccable.

"I think the key for this not going 'crispy' and 'bitty' on your lips is taking care of your lips," she said. "So once a week, I'll do a sugar scrub on my lips. And I'll sleep every single night with like Vaseline or some, like, sleeping mask on my lips, just to keep them hydrated."

Now excuse me while I run out to buy every single product on her shopping list.
