The saying goes, that those who do not enjoy reading just haven’t found the right book.
Well, ok, I just made that up but I certainly know it to be true.
I am the type of person that physically forces books onto people, because I know that a great read is one of the best gifts you can give you a person.

Joe R Lansdale. Everyone I give one of his to loves it. I gave Sunset and Sawdust to a friend, who doesn't read thrillers, she read it in two days.
I'm a prolific reader, but I've read only one of these (Tully, when I was 13 or so, and I don't even remember most of it). I've read quite a few Jodi Piccoult books, but find them hit and miss - some are great, others leave me feeling somewhat let down. It's put me off reading any more of hers
My favourites would be Into the Wilderness - Sara Donati, and The Mists of Avalon - Marion Zimmer Bradley
And I'm not ashamed to put Harry Potter high on the list, either.
