There's not much better than a good book — except for a good and sexy book.

Yes, there will always be something special about reading a story that has you wanting to tear your hair out, or rip open a tissue box.

But what about the books that stir something deep (waaay down deep) inside of us? They deserve their time in the sun too.

Bared To You by Sylvia Day

"Lots of sex scenes. Possibly too many for me to count. SO good. In one of the scenes, Sylvia Day writes: 'My head thudded against the glass, heat pulsing through my blood from the point where his tongue was driving me mad.'" — Michelle.

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

"I was on a book dry spell for ages. I heard about the series and thought I’d give it a crack. I absolutely loved the first book and it kinda awakened me to this new genre and I’m addicted. I found the series very refreshing and an easy step into the fantasy realm. There are scenes in it I can't recall with certainty but they are... erotic." — Cristina.

Neon Gods by Katee Robert

"Not all of the writing are sex scenes and it's fairly down-the-middle, but the sexy scenes between Persephone and Hades? Hot. Light BDSM, voyeurism vibes... Um oh god, now I can't think." — Alix.

It Happened One Summer and Hook, Line & Sinker by Tessa Bailey

"They both have some saucy scenes as well as being silly, light-hearted, easy-to-read, switch-off-from-life reads." — Alanna.

Wetlands by Charlotte Roche

"I don't specifically look for sexy novels to read but I read a book recommendation for Wetlands a few years ago and instantly bought it. It's about a woman who is incredibly confident sexually and is contemplating her life from her hospital bed. It's incredibly powerful and hot and not all that difficult to read whilst still being a very well-written story." — Sharon.

Tentacle Entanglement by Siggy Shade

"Everyone is going to judge me for enjoying this book... I found it on TikTok and it was going around as a bit of a joke because it's about a demonic octopus who f**ks a girl he's mated to with his tentacles and I just... I can't explain it. I laughed at first and then I came across it again late at night and next thing I know, I'm reading it EVERY NIGHT right before bed!" — Kali.

Bridgerton: The Duke and I by Julia Quinn

"Raunch and silly and funny and sweet and devastating. My god, there's this scene in the book where the Duke touches his new wife's nipple and I melted. Absolutely melted. It's a must-read — especially if you've watched the show." — Dana.

Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover

"This book left me a mess. It's too much. It's too good. I don't care if TikTok says it is over-hyped, I read it and I died. Many times. And I will again. The sex scene I love is the one where he whispers the protagonist's name because it is like he is whispering mine. Reow." — Shannen.

The Wedding Date by Jasmine Guillory

"If you like pretend relationship-like stories, then you'll love this one by Jasmine Guillory. It's about a groomsman who takes a woman he has just met to a wedding after they got stuck in an elevator together. Bloody good read and quickly paced as well." — Chantel.

Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer

"The honeymoon scene was the first hot bit of writing I encountered in my life. Legit sat on the steps at school reading this book and barely realised what I was reading until I read it. Basically, they swam naked on their private island and then broke the bed having vampire sex for the first time. Then Bella got pregnant with her half-vampire baby that grew so big so quickly that it tried to kill her." — Talecia.

Outlander by Diana Gabaldon

"Scandalous. Scottish. Sexy. In one sexy scene, he calls her a 'Sassenach'. Got me off, that's all I'll say." — Cindy.
