Just another reason to love Ben Fordham.

He’s a good egg.

Ben Fordham may be one of the nicest men in the media, maybe one of the nicest men in Australia (we don’t know all the men in Oz so can’t be sure) – but we know he’s got to be up there.

Next Thursday, burns survivor and motivational speaker Turia Pitt is hosting a fundraising event hoping to raise funds for Interplast – a not-for-profit organisation that repairs bodies and changes lives.

And it’s just been announced that 2GB radio presenter, Ben Fordham will be the MC for the annual fundraiser this year. We couldn’t think of anyone better to be an MC.

Fordham isn't the only media personality who will be at the event - Sarah Harris and Michael Usher are expected to be there in support of Pitt as well.

The 28-year-old  suffered extreme burns to 65 per cent of her body when she was running in a marathon in 2011 in the Kimberley's.

Pitt has become a household name since her horrific experience. She's used that name to raise awareness, to make a difference and to be a voice for many people nationwide. So for Fordham to jump on board such a big event is awesome.

The burns survivor got a new nose during facial surgery this year, adding to her extensive reconstructive surgeries that she's gone through since 2011.

We're excited for the inspirational Turia Pitt to team up with funny man Ben Fordham to raise much needed funds for a great organisation.

Who's the best man you know? Why is he so special?
