Horrific footage has emerged online of a man chasing a woman down the streets of Egypt to behead her.
First published on video sharing website, Live Leak, the video shows a husband attempting to behead his alleged wife in public.
The first few seconds show the unidentified man bent over the woman, holding her neck to the ground.
As he appears to almost strike her, members of the public desperately struggle to save her life.

The group of people initially kick him, but then grow more aggressive by throwing a brick at him. The video follows the crowd as they chase the man in the blue shirt up and down the street, where they reportedly stoned him.
Despite being left in a pool after her neck was slashed at, the reports say that the woman survived the brutal attack and is doing "OK".
It is believed the incident took place in Egypt's capital, Cairo.
The Sun reports that domestic violence is an epidemic in Egypt, with almost half of Egyptian women disclosing that had surviving acts of violence.
In many cases, the violence was both psychological and traumatic physical attacks, such as whipping and burning.
