As someone who is blessed with a job that doesn't sound real (a karate master... jokes, I'm also a beauty editor), I get to try a lot of different products before they hit the market.
And at the risk of sounding like an absolute twat, I get sent so many free products that I often find myself jumping on a new one before I even finish the one that I've been testing (told you I'd sound like a twat).
Now, with this in mind, there are certain products - the sweet little gems, if you will - that I end up loving until the very. last. drop.
Watch: Talking about things I love on my face - lube is not one of them. Post continues below.
So, you know what I've done? No, I didn't renew my license, mum! I've actually gone ahead and pulled together some of the recent beauty launches that I've emptied clean. That is, the stuff I really like.
Let's scroll on down, shall we?
JVN Nurture Deep Moisture Mask, $37.
Sweetie, stop. It's done.
I've talked about this mask a lot since it launched a couple of months back - because it's very, very good. And if you can't already tell from the intense last-squeeze-of-the-toothpaste-tube vibe - I'm one thousand percent ordering another one.
While you're supposed to use it in place of your usual conditioner once a week, and leave it on for three to five minutes before rinsing out, I like to do something ✨ different✨. I usually opt to leave it on a little longer, throw my hair up in a towel turban and rinse it out an hour or so post-shower.
It makes my hair feel smoother (tames disobedient frizz), healthier (even if you haven't had it cut in seventeen years) and look a lot shinier. Bonus: My partner always asks what I've had done to my hair. But I've literally just... washed it.
Go-To Much Plumper Skin, $48.
It's winter, you guys, and my skin soaked up - nay, INHALED - this new serum from Go-To.
I wrote a whole review on Much Plumper Skin when it first hit shelves, continued to use it (rare) and my formally flaky face loved it. Right down to the very last drop.
It feels incredibly lightweight on the skin, absorbs fast, and instantly hydrates and plumps your skin. A big fat hydration sandwich.
Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Foundation, $65.
Ooft. She really WENT for it, here. Like, I used a cotton bud. To scrape out the remnants. That's how much I liked it. It literally looks like it's lived through an apocalypse.
I loved this formula because it blurred out redness on my face without looking patchy and heavy. The finish was dewy and radiant and it just made my skin look... better.
Have I thrown it out yet and stopped trying to scrape out the ends? No.

TULA So Polished Exfoliating Sugar Scrub, $46.
Note: This pic was taken before I mangled up the tube. But THIS! I loved it.
I'm not a big facial scrub kinda gal - but this just *melts* into your skin and effortlessly whisks away oil, makeup, sunscreen and your day's face without making it tight and dry.
It also smells absolutely delicious. Skin feels soft, bright and happy. Big yes.
Rationale The Mask #5, $214.
This was a little sample pot of Rationale's new mask - and I absolutely flew through it.
You can't really see it here, but the formula kind of looks like... unicorn? It's all illuminating and magical-looking and makes your skin look hydrated and radiant.
FYI, it is SUPER spendy, but a lovely product if you're looking to treat yourself. (Don't worry - I got that little bit at the bottom).
Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel, $19.
While it's not technically new, I've really loved this cute little baby version of Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel - and have used it until it was completely empty. This literally never happens to me with brow products.
The formula just slaps - it keeps my brows in place for the whole day while feeling totally comfortable. Standard for an ABH brow product, but still.
TBH Rebound Serum, $68.
When scientist (and You Beauty Collective member) Hannah English teamed up with TBH skincare to create this shiny new serum, I couldn't wait to get it on my face - because she's an absolute wizard. And you bet it was good!
It’s lovely and hydrating, and is the best thing for soothing upset, inflamed skin - especially if you've done a number on your skin barrier (silly goose).
13/10 would recommend.
Simple Booster Serum 10% Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), $10.
Simple launched a range of booster serums back in March, and this was one of my faves (see: finished bottle).
It's extremely gentle on sensitive skin, easy to use and feels lovely and light on the skin. No stinging. No burning. No arguments.
Yay for an affordable serum that's actually good!
Mesoestetic Hydra-Vital Light, $118.
I kid you not, my skin was the SOFTEST it's ever been when I was using this. I kept it in my cupboard like a weird trophy for, like, three weeks after I emptied it.
Only drawback? She's very spendy. But, hey - if you're in the market for a fancy moisturiser that makes your skin feel like absolute heaven, she's ya gal.
Okay, my left hand is tired from all the product holding. Bye! Love the new hair!
