On the hunt for a new sex toy? Unsure what to go for and whether or not you need a newly fandangled suction element? Well, BREATHE. Because the Mamamia sex toy reviews are here to help. We get real people to get real intimate with real sex toys and then tell us about them.
This week, Carly Sophia, beauty writer and mum-of-two, reviews the Baci Robotic Clitoral Stimulator.
I don’t mean to brag, but in my line of work as a sex-toy reviewer, I get to play with lots and lots of toys. You could (and I do) say, I basically get paid to go f**k myself!
So I like to think I know a thing or two about good vibes.
In my opinion, the most outstanding development in the sex toy industry in the last few years has been clit-suckers, with their magical contactless orgasm delivery.

All are not made equal, however, and the Baci Robotic Clitoral Stimulator by female-led company Lora Di Carlo (fun fact, it’s co-owned by Cara Delevingne) is by FAR my favourite.
What does the sex toy claim to do?
Baci (like many other clit-sucking toys) claims to mimic the feeling of a human mouth. It goes above and beyond to deliver, though, with its micro robotic technology so talented at mimicking oral sensation that it was awarded an honouree place at the 2020 CES Innovation Awards.
In addition to pioneering sex-science, the Baci is uniquely shaped to rest within the outer labia and provide rhythmic thrumming to the full body of the clitoris – 90 per cent of which is internal. The external part, called the glans, is literally just the tip of the iceberg!
What was your first impression of the sex toy?
With a mere glance, I had two immediate thoughts.
1. “Oh look. Another clit-sucking sex toy.” (Baci, babe. I am so sorry. I take it all back!)
2. “Well, let’s get this show on the road then!” (Advice: Ignore impulses and do not get any show on any road until said show has been fully charged. If you’re going to have a sex-toy die on you before you come, you may as well have sex with a man.)
How much is the sex toy? And do you think it’s worth it?
The RRP on this is $267.99. I know.
Honestly though, I would pay $500 a pop for the orgasms I’ve had with this, so it feels like a bit of a steal.
What was it like using the sex toy? And how did it really feel?
This is a conversation best had at a bar over a filthy martini because by the time I’m done recounting we’ll need a stiff drink and a sit-down. This toy made me come so hard and rendered my knees so weak that I didn’t trust myself to drive after. It shouldn’t even be called a ‘toy’ because it is NOT playing around.
Every time I orgasm with this, it’s so intense that I feel like I might explode into a giant shower of glitter, or at the very least, squirt, or pee. It feels unlike any orgasm I’ve ever had before, and that’s because it is. Stimulating the whole clitoris is a whole different story.
I made noises so guttural and not-of-this-Earth that I’m frankly amazed my neighbours didn’t call an exorcist.

Describe the sex toy in three words:
Men now redundant.
What score would you give the sex toy out of 10?
10. Without a shadow of a doubt.
This sex toy is best for people who want…
To experience pleasure so intense that by the time they’ve finished, their whole street wants a smoke. I feel like I was only experiencing my vagina using dial-up before. Now I’ve got orgasms in 5G.
Any final words?
Spread ‘em.
As I said earlier, Baci is designed to sit inside the outer labia, so it might take a minute to ensure it’s comfortably positioned in the right place.
Also: live, laugh, LUBE! I remember reading a review of the Satisfyer Pro 2 once where the writer claimed climaxing was ‘painful’ and then finished with ‘maybe I should have used lube’.
All I have to say is this: go down a water slide without water if you wish to fully understand why lube is important
