Oh dear. That is going to be one frosty wedding night.
Removing a bride’s garter with your teeth is a bizarre tradition in the first place, especially considering the fact that at many weddings, the room is made up of all your friends, colleagues and family. Your new husband has his head up your dress in front of your 89-year-old Nanna and kindy teacher Mrs Graham.
But someone posted a video over on Reddit that takes the discomfort to a whole new level. Somehow, this groom managed to make the event even more awkward. He made an absolute SPECTACLE of himself attempting the removal while completely BLOTTO.
Legitimately. Falling over drunk. It’s safe to safe there would be no headboard shaking in this honeymoon suit. Partly due to hubby’s extreme inebriation, and partly due to the fact that you can all but see the steam coming out of the bride’s ears.
The entire ordeal lasts an excruciating five-and-a-half minutes. 326 seconds of the kind of cringe that leads you to make noises than can only be transcribed phonetically as- “EugharNOOOOOMmmOhhhwahhjsdfhsldjsd.”
You can actually pinpoint the second this bride realises she has made a terrible, terrible mistake.
It’s probably around this point:
My head hurts from all the awkward.

The most cringe-worthy thing I ever saw/heard at a wedding was when the best man/brother of the groom started telling the guests about his brother's numerous "conquests" back home on the farm. The groom had certainly had his fair share of girlfriends before his bride but no-one, most of all the bride and her family (cringe), needed to be reminded. Really bad taste, terribly un-funny and embarrassing for everyone in attendance.
Wow, if looks could kill, he would be dead! But she kept her dignity and looked lovely.
