Amber Harrison emails reveal plans to destroy Seven West Media's 'idiot boss' Tim Worner.

Former Seven West Media employee Amber Harrison vowed to “destroy” the company’s “idiot boss” Tim Worner over an affair, emails tendered in court reveal.

Ms Harrison is fighting a gag order which was made by the New South Wales Supreme Court last week after she launched a public campaign against Seven and its chief executive, claiming the company tried to crush her after she revealed her two-year affair with Mr Worner to management.

The 39-year-old former executive assistant was last week ordered to stop leaking confidential documents, talking to journalists, making adverse statements about Seven and using social media as part of the Supreme Court injunction.

Lawyers for Seven West today told the court Ms Harrison had made “wilful and vindictive” breaches of a $380,000 confidentially agreement by obtaining and leaking confidential documents for her own “disgraceful purposes”.

Seven’s lawyer, Andrew Bell SC, read out emails sent by Ms Harrison to Mr Worner’s assistant in 2014, in which she vowed to wage a “war” aimed at “destroying your idiot boss”.

“He knows I’m out to get him,” one email said.

“This is now war.”

Ms Harrison also wrote she had “launched a reign of terror unlike any you’ve seen before”.

Another email said “I have … a thousand texts from someone I’m about to blow the head off”.

News Corp and Fairfax Media have joined the fight against the injunction, arguing they should be allowed to approach Ms Harrison for her response to public criticism by former Victorian premier and Seven West board member Jeff Kennett because they would otherwise be open to defamation proceedings.

The hearing continues.
