“It’s our first weekend leaving Scout at home in Perth with my mother,” Jessica Marais said on the red carpet as she and her gorgeous fiance James Stewart headed into Melbourne’s Crown Casino for TV’s biggest knees-up. “So it’s date night, but it feels like there’s something missing.”
Tonight is Logies night, and Crown is host to big egos and bigger hair as every star we love to have in our living rooms gets their glam on to vie for gold and silver gongs.
And Jess wasn’t the only one representing for the mums. The Love Child star was roundly touted for best dressed, but right behind her was the always awesome Kat Stewart (Offspring), Rebecca Gibney, Carrie Bickmore, Rebecca Judd and beautiful bump-ees Kate Ritchie and Ada Nicodemou.
Our favourite social media post of the night though, goes to Zoe Foster Blake, who wasn’t even on the red carpet tonight. About to give birth to her and husband’s first baby, Zoe posted a super-glam pic of herself on the red carpet last year in a fitted white gown, then contrasted it with her tonight, very pregnant in a fluffy dressing gown. You made the right decision, Zoe, a robe and room service is much more fun than a glitzy party when you’ve got swollen ankles…
