When new mum and former Married at First Sight contestant Zoe Hendrix posted to Instagram about her flu, she just intended to shout out to other ailing parents.
But what she got was a proper diagnosis.
“I’m in bed with a temp of 39, sore throat, body aches and an 8 week old,” she wrote.
“I salute all you mums/dads with chronic and serious illness who get up everyday and push through the pain and take care of your kids. This shit is hard.”
From that alone, a number of the 27-year-old’s followers alerted her that those symptoms were typical of mastitis, an inflammatory condition caused by blocked milk ducts.
"Please get the home doctor (call 13 SICK) to your home NOW for medication as it can quickly escalate overnight and you may end up in hospital," wrote one follower.
"As soon as I saw this I thought Mastitis... and I see others have mentioned the same," wrote another. "Get to the doc love and take care!"

Hendrix, who is still with her reality television match Alex Garner, posted later that day to inform her followers they were spot on.
"THANK YOU to all you wonderful and switched on followers who informed me about Mastitis in my last post (which I thought was just the flu)," she wrote.
