The 29 baby names everyone will judge you for choosing.

Deciding on your kid’s name is right up there with one of the most important decisions you’ll ever make. Mostly because it’s such a huge commitment. Let us reiterate that. A HUGE commitment. It is a name your kid will live with for the rest of their life, and you’ll be saying several times every day for the rest of yours.

This is what prompted one Reddit user to ask the question: “What are people now naming their children that they really shouldn’t be? A Facebook friend just named their child ‘Dude’. Seriously.”

What happened next was an outpouring of all the judgement that many, many people had about names they had heard their friends and family call their newborns.

It even got one user responding with: “As someone 39 weeks pregnant with our first child, who still hasn’t figured out what to name him, this thread is giving me severe anxiety.”

Scroll through the gallery for 29 baby names you don’t want your baby named…

Gosh, I have a rather 'normal' name with 'normal' spelling, but am also used to it being spelled wrong. Christy, Kristie, Kristi, Cristy, Christie... Yep. Had them all. But my last name I just spell it out.
I'm not sure about the more traditional names being spelled in a more than untraditional way... I wouldn't do it, and sometimes you know it's the parents trying for some individuality, but your child will have that regardless of the misspelling of their names!

The worst name I've heard was one that was recently given. "Hank Donald" I'm all about old fashioned names but this poor kid doesn't have a chance at anything but country. With a name like this you don't give a kid a chance.
