Dr Pimple Popper just squeezed the biggest blackhead the world has ever seen.

If you’re the kind of person who actually gets excited when you spot a pimple on yourself or a friend because it means you get to squeeze it, you’re probably already well acquainted with Dr Sandra Lee.

A dermatologist and skin cancer surgeon based in the US, Dr Lee has earned herself the nickname Dr Pimple Popper – along with almost 400,000 Youtube subscribers – for her (disgustingly) addictive pimple popping videos.

And her recently uploaded blackhead extraction video could just be the worst (read: best) one yet. (Post continues after video. Video contains graphic material.)

WE CAN’T LOOK AWAY.

The latest video features an older “vibrant and sassy” patient who Dr Lee had recently been treating for skin cancer around her ear, when she spotted a hard blackhead next to the eye. The resulting video is like Christmas come early for pimple popping lovers – but definitely not for the fainthearted.

After quickly numbing the area, Dr Lee makes a small incision into the blackhead and gently extracts the hard disk that has been under the woman’s skin for years.

“It looks like it’s going to slide out… It’s like maybe there are some clues in there to a buried treasure,” she jokes.

When it finally does fall out, the pus sac is about the size of a five cent piece, and Dr Lee identifies it as “the mother of all blackheads. Mother had a mother!” she says to the woman.

While it looks large, Dr Lee says that it’s not medically necessary to remove as it is a giant comedone and not life threatening.

Nevertheless, the patient is extremely excited to see it go.

“I’m going to look good for my party this weekend,” she says.

With a huge social media following and hundreds of loyal fans on Reddit, Dr Lee started off posting pictures on Instagram before they were so popular that she decided to film and upload her own full videos on YouTube.

The daily videos all feature her clients, and there’s no shortage of eager patients.

“If a patient comes in, I ask if they wouldn’t mind me removing these for them in exchange for them allowing me to post it. I try to make it as anonymous as I can,” she told Racked.

“The interesting thing is that nobody ever says no.”

While it may be fascinating to watch, keep in mind that it’s probably best not to attempt to recreate these at home. Most dermatologists passionately advise against popping your own pimples or blackheads, so if you’re really concerned about it, go see an expert.

And if you really feel the need, satisfy your desire by watching a video of someone else doing it. Win-win.

Can you stomach Dr Pimple Popper’s videos?
