Man arrested after woman's body found in boot of car on NSW south coast.

A 27-year-old man has been arrested in the Bermagui area on the south coast of New South Wales over the discovery of a woman’s body in the boot of a car.

NSW Police are investigating whether the body is that of Canberra woman Daniella D’Addario, 35, who has been missing since April 20.

The body may be that of Canberra woman Daniella D’Addario, 35.

Her partner, 27-year-old Josaia Vosikata, was reported missing to ACT police at the same time.

NSW Police stopped a blue Hyundai Getz at Cuttagee Point about 8:30pm Wednesday night, but the driver fled into nearby bushland.

“A foot chase ensued, however due to the weather, the darkness and the terrain the male person eluded police,” Detective Superintendent Peter O’Brien said.

Officers found the body of a woman believed to be in her 30s in the car.

Police have not revealed how she died.

Josaia Vosikata and Daniella D’Addario have not been seen since April 20.

On Thursday afternoon NSW Police confirmed a man had been arrested about 4:30pm in relation to the discovery, but would not confirm the man’s identity.

The man has been taken to Batemans Bay Police Station.

Ms D’Addario and Mr Vosikata were last seen on Sunday evening and were believed to be in the Bermagui area.

Earlier this week, ACT police said they had concerns for their welfare, but no evidence to suggest foul play.

When the couple first went missing police said they were believed to be travelling in a silver to light blue Hyundai Getz.
