Emily overheard a dirtbag bragging about cheating on his girlfriend. So she exposed him.

If you live in England and you’re dating a guy named Ben, Emily Shepherd wants you to know something.

The 23-year-old was travelling on a train from Bournemouth to Manchester when she overheard the crass conversation of a bloke named Ben, who was bragging to his friends about cheating on his girlfriend.

Not content with letting the cheater get away with his actions, Emily did what any self-respecting millennial would do in her situation: she shared the news on Twitter.

“If anyone has a boyfriend called Ben on the Bournemouth – Manchester train right now, he’s just told his friends he’s cheating on you,” she shared.

“Dump his ass x.”

Emily’s tweet has now gone viral, with thousands of women desperate to find Ben and know if justice was served.

Since sharing the message three days ago, Emily’s initial tweet has been shared more than 26,000 times.

Some were desperate for a description of the bloke, to ensure if wasn’t anyone they knew.

Other women, whose boyfriends share the moniker, tagged their beaus questioning their whereabouts.

Some, however, criticised Emily for taking a private conversation public, with some warning her “not to get involved in the complicated lives of total strangers.”

“Ben is not only unfaithful, but in a public place, he’s being indiscreet & disrespectful,” one women said, defending the 23-year-old.

“He needs hung out to dry where he can wait for what’s coming. His girl deserves better.”

Others joked that hundreds of Ben’s across England were now single as a result.

"Poor all the Bens on that train except one," one person tweeted, while another wrote, "50 Bens just got dumped."

"I was in bed last night and don't have a girlfriend, but just checking it wasn't me?? Might have been sleep walking again?" one man named Ben joked.

Despite the popularity of her tweet, Emily has since confirmed that the identity of 'Ben' is yet to be revealed.

But, Ben, whoever you are, that doesn't mean you should rest on your laurels: you will be found.
