The awkward moment a tv host has to apologise for showing a naked woman's crotch.

Viewers of a TV segment about a nude restaurant got a bit more than they bargained for when a live cross ended in a full-frontal view of Tyler Diamond’s vagina.

While the presenters were shocked, Diamond – a stage name used by the 27-year-old adult performer – was pretty blasé about the whole thing.

In fact, her main concern was that her hair wasn’t looking its best.

“My first reaction when I saw it was, oh my god, you can tell I’m wearing hair extensions!” Diamond told Stuff.co.nz.

“So I wasn’t too impressed about that.”

The presenters of the segment apologise profusely to the audience, saying viewers might have “seen too much… maybe something you didn’t want to see.”

But Diamond maintains there’s nothing to be sorry for.

“I think they were more shocked than I was,” she says.

“I was more like, okay so it’s a vagina, so what? But I think they were kind of like, oh, a vagina, oh crap.”

And hey – you can’t criticise her for doing her job.

“I was just serving people there because it was a nude dining experience, and I was the nude waitress. We were just serving food and they said okay we’re running live and I was like okay, that’s fine.”

“I’ve heard there’s a few upset people and I’ve seen some comments and negativity about mothers going on about their children seeing it, but they were given plenty of warning, so if they didn’t turn it off, then what can you do?”

If Tyler Diamond wasn’t already your new feminist hero, she finished her interview with this zinger:

“It’s a vagina at the end of the day, and we’ve all come from one. People need to chill out a bit.”

All hail Queen Tyler.

So because a woman is a naked waitress she is now our new feminist hero??????????
Holy hell I hope we can find some other (better) qualities for our 'feminist hero's'?!

If you're going to do a live interview from a restaurant full of naked people, I'd say there's a pretty high risk of showing something you shouldn't. I'm more concerned about the whole idea of naked waitresses. Surely there are hygiene issues here? Hope the chef's not naked too!

Regarding your second point, I'd be very worried if a penis or vagina (or *gasp* a vulva!) came anywhere near my food, whether it's clothed or not. Considering that I don't even remotely remember the last time I had something in a restaurant that was cold or room temperature, I would assume that the chef was smart enough to keep their genitals away from the hot plate.

Considering how hard chefs work and in such a hot environment, I think we have to basically accept that there may well be sweat in our food, be that from hands, arms or faces. If it's coming from someone's nether regions, I seriously doubt I'll notice.
