5 things to watch that aren't the election.

Finding something good to watch on TV during an election weekend is like herding cats. A lot of cats.

‘We’ll be counting down the election until the final vote is counted’ the commercial stations say.

‘We’ve got all day election coverage, electorate after electorate’ the ABC probably proclaims.

And all the while you just want to switch off you’re brain and watch something that doesn’t have the word election in it.

Election. Election. Election.

Because lets face it, once you’ve filled in your ballot paper and eaten a sausage sanga, you just want to go home and chill.

Like all things Laura recommends, this sci-fi TV show is… well… a sci-fi TV show. It’s set in a place called the Dollhouse, which rents out personalities. Each body is the same but each personality is changed. “It has the most insane ending I have ever seen.” Laura Brodnik said.

“Its a satirical comedy starring a woman created by Steve Carrell.” Whats not to love? Rosie Waterland thinks everyone should watch this because it’s freakin’ hilarious.

Made in America the OJ Simpson story on Foxtel

Forget The American Crime Story: People Vs OJ Simpson. This show is where it’s really at.  It’s a documentary, and gives you a lot more information than the drama series ever did. Rosie recommended it. “It was the first and last thing I will ever watch on ESPN, it’s an intense documentary – but it is out of this world magnificent.”

Unreal on Stan

Season Two has just dropped. Even though they are drip feeding up these episodes it is still totally worth watching. Because, Dick Money Power. Listen to Laura’s interview with the cast here:

Pretty Little Liars on Netflix

It's the TV show that you love to hate. Like really love to hate. As Laura Brodnik says: "On one hand, it's just a bit of fun entertainment, a great depiction of gay characters and they've done a good job of stretching the mystery out over seven seasons. Other times, it's so cringe-worthy I can't bear to look at it."
