Turning 30 meant a lot of different things to me. I agree with the "giving a fuck" so much less. I am definitely calmer and more at peace with life cause the alternative is too much hard work!
A lot of other things happened too. My health started to decline so to speak. Allergies I never knew I had reared their head along with food intolerances. Not to mention my ability to lose weight if needed for a certain dress/event suddenly got harder and the weight started to creep up if I wasn't super vigilant. I had 2 babies in my late 20's and 2 in my 30's and the pregnancies and sleepless nights were definitely more challenging. So was recovery and pregnancy weight loss. But amongst all of that I loved turning 30. I loved finally feeling like I knew who I was and I was at peace with my body and insecurities. I'll be 40 in a few years. Not so much looking forward to that. I think I might start turning the clock back...
