Okay look Australia, I don’t mean to alarm anyone but there’s a fraud among us. Someone is lying about their true identity and it’s not Dame Edna Everage.
Another so-called “national treasure” has been pulling the wool over our eyes: Rove McManus.
Turns out, that’s not even his real name. WAKE UP SHEEPLE.
As hard as it may be to believe (very, duh) Rove is not a totally-legitimate-actual-person’s real first name.
So, “What it the real name of TV personality Rove McManus?” Well, that’s the $10,000 question. At least it was on Monday’s episode of Millionaire Hot Seat.
One contestant passed. Another locked in “Darren, Eddie”. And the nation watched on, stumped.
As it turns out, the answer was a) John. JOHN.
WHAT THE??!
Although to be completely honest, John Live doesn’t quite have the same ring to it.
“You know you’ve made it when you’re a question on Millionaire Hot Seat,” John Henry Michael “Rove” McManus wrote on Facebook.
“You know you need to work on your profile when they get it wrong.”
Just change it to Darren, mate. Australia will be none the wiser.

This was big news...back in 2009 when Rove was at the height of his TV career (to date)
Ok I'm going to play ignorant and ask - what the hell does "Wake up Sheeple" mean??
Oh & Rove............."what the?" ;)
'Sheeple' = sheep + people. People who follow along and blindly believe what they're told by 'the powers that be'. Mostly used by conspiracy theorists - the ones who think 'Big Pharma' is suppressing the cure for cancer, anti-vaxxers, etc. Used in this article in a satirical manner (I hope!).
Hahaha - we just call them 'sheep' when we are referring to people like that. Thanks for that Rush, not sure I'll use the term myself but at least I know now :))
