It’s the most wonderful time of the year.
Well, for fashion and celebrity watchers anyway.
Off the back of the awards season buzz, tomorrow night, the first Monday of May (for the US), famous faces and bodies will grace the opening of the Metropolitan Museum of Art fashion exhibit with the Costume Institute Gala.
To remind yourself of last year’s fashion, click through the gallery below. Post continues after gallery.
Never one to miss a photo op, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will probably be there. Vogue Editor Anna Wintour will show up in her signature shades and Sarah Jessica Parker will wow us with another Carrie Bradshaw-approved creation.
Yet, there’s one celebrity who definitely won’t be there.
Our favourite GOOP-ie, Gwyneth Paltrow.

She is too precious for words...
I love the Met Gala because I love seeing people take risks with fashion and it's nice seeing so many dresses deviating from the black strapless sheaths or shiny mermaid gowns that dominate the awards season.
But...Gwyneth could do all five of the things on that list literally anywhere else. If she doesn't enjoy it, why should she go?
