This Norwegian campaign is not new. But it is relevant.
If you were to look at your circle of friends, at least one of them would have experienced some form of violence in their lives. But a lot of the time, you can’t tell from the outside.
The campaign ties to shock people into realising that domestic violence is so often a lot closer than we think.

the stats are shocking but putting a face to these statistics of the victims and the ones left behind is absolutely devastating. My father was very physically abusive to us as children and emotionally abusive to my mother, although he never hit my mum he really took it out on us and we happily took the beatings as long as she was ok. Lets not forget the children who sacrifice themselves for the ones they love and put an end to this.
When people say "what is the solution" I recommend these simple steps:
1. Educate Yourself
2. Educate Others
3. NEVER blame the victim/survivor
Stop denying solutions by arguing and bickering. Lives are on the line - focus on that.
