We apologise in advance…
If you’ve been ever-so-lucky to catch head lice before, you are familiar with the crippling itchiness, endless scalp-scratching and teeth-grinding.
(And who can forget the wonderful smell of lice treatment that lingers around the house for about three months after you use it?)
Well, be prepared for all of those gorgeous memories to come rushing back to you after watching this video, which shows what some doctors believe to be the worst case of head lice the world has ever seen. Lovely.
This will feel like primary school all over again.
And just remember we’re sorry. We really are.
Cannot. stop. itching. scalp.
While the man in the video remains unidentified, the founder of London-based ‘Hairforce’, Dee Wright, described the condition as “a very extreme case” and explained to MailOnline that “he will have them in his eyebrows and his eyelashes – they will be falling down.”
“That person’s scalp will be raw in places and infected. That will be running his system down like crazy.”
Surprisingly, Wright says she has seen even worse cases of head lice in her career, and has even found whole lice nests on patient’s scalps.
We’re sure mums and dads everywhere are frantically searching for a hair comb/torch/razor blade right this second.
“It’s a major job to get that out. It’s enough to make anyone feel itchy all over.”
You’re right about that, Dee Wright, you are right about that. Unfortunately in this case, what has been seen cannot be unseen.
Is this the worst case of head lice you’ve ever seen?

If I was that guy I'd be rocking a bald head by now. I've seen bad cases of nits where you can see them crawling through the hair from a metre away but that takes the cake!
