US Airways replied to a complaint with a photo of a plane flying into a woman's vagina.

Woops. Seriously: WOOPS.

US Airways was just responsible for what is possibly the worst social media stuff up since social media became a thing that could be stuffed up. Seriously, it’s bad.

An unhappy customer tweeted the US Airways account to let them know how upset they were that their flight was delayed:

Pretty standard.

And because US Airways is a thoughtful company that responds to online customer complaints, they replied to Alex’s tweet.

But the reply tweet they sent was…. Well it was… Okay, there’s no other way to put this: US Airways replied to Alex’s tweet with a photo of a woman sticking a model plane in her vagina.

A photo, of a woman, sticking a model plane, in her vagina.

US Airways deleted the tweet a couple of minutes later and said they are ‘investigating’ exactly what happened. (Although it seems like a simple case of someone being sick of their job and deciding to go out in a blaze of glory.)

This is officially the best example there will ever be on how not to run a major company’s Twitter account.

OMG so many comments I could make, but I'll stick with, Dear companies - you need to take social media seriously. Seriously!

Maybe she wanted a ride in the cockpit? Haha I love this. Hooray to the disgruntled employee in charge of the twitter account!
