We’ve all seen the usual pregnancy photographs mothers share. Glowing, intimate, hand on bump.
But here’s a trend that we’re hoping catches on. Because it’s a bit different, a bit out there, a big soggy. Basically, pregnant women, some with their partners, pose – in the pool.
Florida-based underwater photographer, Adam Opris, has been the one pioneering this trend and over the past week his collections have, with good reason, been shared worldwide.
Because bumps, swimmers, heels and floaty, floaty hair. Take a look:
Yes, we wanted to know how they did it, too.
Speaking to Huffington Post Opris said “After doing some research on safety and pregnancy, I realised that being in the water was not only safe when done right, but recommended for pregnant women as it is a great way to relieve stress off their backs and joints.”
Forget magical pregnancy unicorns. These women are magical pregnancy mermaids.

I honestly can't stand these photos. Don't find them attractive or interesting at all.
I have to say, I find pregnancy shoots (particularly over stylisied ones like this) so tacky. I was biting my tongue until I read your comment!!
stunning!
