Two years after losing their sons in a car crash, the Eddings family share gorgeous news.

After losing both their sons in a car accident, Hadley and Gentry Eddings have just welcomed twin boys into the world.

Two years ago, the Eddings, from South Carolina in the US, were on their way home from a wedding when their car was rear-ended by a truck.

Their two-year-old son, Dobbs, was killed instantly. Hadley was also pregnant at the time with baby Reed, who was due in two weeks, and also died.

Hadley was rushed to the hospital and the doctors were able to deliver Reed via a c-section, but he passed away a short time later.

Now the Eddings have finally received some good news. On Monday, they welcomed twin boys Isaiah Dobbs and Amos Reed into the world.

A photo of Gentry proudly holding his two sons has been shared on Facebook.

Earlier this year the couple spoke about how much they missed being parents.

“I had missed being a mum from day one but around this summer I thought, we’re getting to that point where it’s going to be OK for me to be pregnant and I want to have more babies,” Hadley told 11 Alive.

“It’s not betraying my children who are no longer here to have more children and that was the things we had to work through before we decided to try again," she added.

Gentry, who is a pastor at Forest Hill Church, has also spoken about the importance of forgiveness.

“Be willing to forgive others – that's been an important part of our healing is just to be able to forgive the driver that caused the accident," he told Alive 11.

Shortly after the Eddings lost their sons, a Facebook page was created for members of the public to show their support to the family. This week, the page has been flooded with messages of congratulations to the couple.
