Well now, I’m hijacking the Best and Worst post to share a little something with you all.
It’ll be my BEST for the week, I would imagine.
So, on Sunday I am flying to Los Angeles on a special project to interview The Muppets. Well, to interview Kermit, Miss Piggy and actor Jason Segel (you know, the one from How I Met Your Mother and Forgetting Sarah Marshall). At Disney. And the Henson Studios.
I had to stop to breathe a little bit after writing that sentence.
Now, I need your help to come up with questions! I have a friend with Kermit tattooed on her back so she’s already given me bucketloads but I’m sure you all have plenty to add!
And of course, it’s the end of the week so tell us how your week was. The highs, the lows, the bests, the worsts!
For the record, my worst? Trying to get all my documentation together for OS travel at the last minute. I know I shouldn’t whinge but it has been a special stressful few weeks. Breathe. Relax, Rick.
Here’s the Muppet Movie trailer:

Best: 3 days in Cairns at a conference. Few years since I was there - things have changed. Shops closed, not so many tourists, and a sign of the times: restaurants offer a 25% discount if you order before 6.30 pm (That's a free main meal! That's doing it tough!) But still relaxed and balmy.
Worst: Flying to Cairns and return. Airlines have really become the pits. No leg room, no service, no comfort, bottle of warm water costs $3.00. Next time, I'll take the train.
Best: Lovely couple who were so comforting, friendly and reassuring when my little girl cracked it at a restaurant the other night. She screamed her head off and I had to take her outside for a few minutes to try and calm her down and the couple came over and said ''You're doing a great job, we know its hard, we have grand kids the same age!'' Thank you sooooooo much, it meant a lot!
Also, I think I'm losing weight! I'm fitting into clothes that have been put away for a while now, but the scales aren't showing up any different. Is that normal?
Worst: I feel like I've wasted so much money recently. I've been so clumsy, smashing things, replacing them, feels like as soon as I have cash on me, it's gone. Waste waste waste...not good.
