Take a look (and have some tissues on standby):

5. Kerri-Anne Kennerley says what we’re all thinking.

Kerri-Anne Kennerley thinks Joel Madden’s Best New Talent Logie win is “too silly for words”.

At a Channel Seven post-Logies event on Monday the tv veteran said: “Joel is not a new talent. He got on that show from being an international star.

“To even vaguely put him in the category of new talent is stupid. He shouldn’t have let himself be there in the first place.”

Madden addressed the controversy at his post-Logie win press conference.

“This is first experience with the Logies. I definitely feel like a new comer … and it’s intimidating to be here in this room and out there with people who’ve been in the industry here for so long.

“I care about what people think of me here in this industry and I understand why it would be a controversy.”

7. Is this the worst recipe book idea EVER?

Macho Mojito, the Slightly Saltier Caviar, and the Watermelon Gin Jizz are just some of the delightful semen-based cocktail recipes in Semenology: The Semen Bartender’s Handbook. Yep, semen cocktails, they’re a thing now.

Attempting to explain the reason for the book, the author says: “People eat all kinds of weird stuff,” Photenhauer said to San Franciso Weekly. “Eggs are the menstruation of chickens. Milk is the mammary excretion from cows. Semen is…at least it’s fresh and you know who the producer is.”

Nope, you still haven’t convinced us. If you want to get your hands on a copy (best not to go with the second hand version we reckon) it’s available on Amazon for $20.66.

I disagree with KAK, and think its a shame that Joel's win has been marred.

The Logie awards are awards for Australian tv. Joel is new to Australian tv, therefore the award makes total sense to me.
