In the other week in pics… Steer clear of race, religion and sex. That’s what we can learn from a year in advertising after the Advertising Standards Bureau released its list of the top 10 complained about ads of 2011.
Those pics in the gallery as well as the most controversial magazine covers of the year, designer condoms, superhero breast cancer ads and much more.
Have a look.

Oh wow, I love the superhero/ breast cancer awareness ads! They are so cool, I actually would love one of those posters!
But I'm not really sure what the caption to slide 10 means? It's the one with Adele as Billboard's artist of the year, and the caption specifies that she was on the cover "head and shoulders" only. I feel like this is trying to say she wasn't shown in a head to toe shot because she's bigger than most pop stars? Unless that's known to be the case, I feel like this the kind of negative inference I expect in trashy mags, not lovely Mamamia!
P.S. I adore Adele, and love her music, and am delighted to see her on magazine covers, and tv chat shows, and winning awards, and singing her heart out. She rocks my world.
I saw New Idea mag is announcing Kate Middleton is pregnant. that magazine is trash - i never buy it (i will read it if it is lying around but i wont buy it....double standard or what!!)
