As much as we love Jennifer Lawrence, the thought of Cookie Monster starring in the Hunger Games is just too irresistible.
Following the premiere of the second Hunger Games movie, Catching Fire, this week, the folk at Sesame Street have released their own brilliant take on the adventures of Katniss Everdeen and co.

Cookie Monster stars as Cookieness Evereat, the feisty brunette who enthusiastically volunteered for the Hungry Games and managed to win. How s/he did so without the aid of a fistful of cookies is a mystery, if you ask us.
Now s/he's back in the HG arena with friends Finnicky, Tick Tock Lady and Pita, a talking piece of bread. The quartet have to race against the clock and use some quick-thinking to overcome obstacles like evil monkeys and a thick fog.
While their versions of "Mad Men", "Homelamb" and "True Mud" were truly awesome, we think the Sesame Street team have really outdone themselves with this one. Watch the video here, and remember the words of Effie Trinket: May the cookies be ever in your flavour!
