The show might be over but the drama’s not.
Everyone’s favourite love-to-hate-them twins from The Block may have just lost their prize money.
Yep, beautiful police-women twins Alisa and Lysandra might not pocket their winnings from the show after all.
NAB banker Lukas Kamay – the 26-year-old man who bought the place and has laid down a deposit – is embroiled in a potential insider-trading scam. The apartment the girls renovated has just been seized by the police, as part of that investigation.
Kamay bought the three bedroom apartment in Albert Park for a whopping $2.4 million. That sale price was $616,000 more than the reserve price at auction – and on The Block, that’s the sum the winners should take home.
Yikes.
Channel Nine spokesman Terry Stuart told news.com.au that he was unsure if the sale could go ahead now.
Just when the twins thought their Block days were over…
More to come.

It's beyond their control.
Channel 9 should honour the purchase price and give it to the twins.
Although I honestly doubt when it goes back on the market it will sell for that much again.
Block properties are usually undervalued, it'll probably sell for more.
It was only the Richmond ones that were undervalued.
We looked at buying the ones in Dorcas Street in South Melbourne and even according to our Real Estate Agents - they were over-valued. The true test though is when and if they come back on the market.
Unlucky...
