Just all the stunning photos of the finished Gatwick Hotel apartments from The Block finale.

The Block is done for another year, and this season saw five couples competing to redesign St Kilda’s Gatwick Private Hotel – a long dilapidated boarding house that’s become synonymous with Melbourne’s underbelly.

But not any more.

Despite the drama-filled episodes (threatened walkouts, pregnancies and meltdowns) each couple delivered premium apartments that sold for between $2.859 million and $3.02 million, and here’s what the final homes looked like.

Sara and Hayden – $3.02 million.

Although viewers were divided on their win, the Sydney couple ultimately walked away with a profit of $545,000 (plus another $100,000 in prize money). The judges didn’t love all of their rooms and they were often criticised for their styling, but the buyer’s had the final say, and clearly they saw no issue with it. We have to say though, their light-filled terrace is spectacular.

Although they walked away as winners, The Block's Sara and Hayden had a tumultuous time on show. Including the time Sara once threatened to throw a hammer through a door.

Bianca and Carla - $2.991 million.

Bianca and Carla's stunning Gatwick penthouse apartment was a front runner from the beginning of the season. The luxe wooden accents became a theme throughout their entire penthouse, while their art deco accents paid homage to the hotel's original 1930s design. For all their hard work, the friends made $301,000 above their $2.69 million reserve.

Kerrie and Spence - $2.85 million.

Going with the bottom floor of the Gatwick Hotel, Kerrie and Spence utilised their space with clever reading nooks and creative design features. The South Australian couple set their reserve at $2.435 million and made $415,000 in profit.

Courtney and Hans - $2.77 million.

Courtney and Hans were the last couple to have their apartment go to auction, but that didn't stop the interest. Buyers loved their carefully curated and innovative design, leaving them with $410,000 of profit above their $2.46 million reserve after they sold their apartment to twins Rose and Yvette, who previously owned The Gatwick for 46 yeas.

Jess and Norm - $2.859 million.

Norm and Jess' apartment might have made the least during auction but their end result is still stunning. The couple took advantage of the light-filled rooms and utilised this in their floor-to-ceiling windows. The couple walked away with $209,000 in profit above their reserve of $2.65 million.
