“I had two friends pass away on separate occasions. I left the house to go to the funerals. I chose to stay because I wanted to show I was serious but I didn’t want to tell her what was going on.”
After Davey Lloyd was dramatically booted off before the rose ceremony on The Bachelorette last night, every dedicated-viewer had an opinion on him.
He was immature. He was annoying. He was that bloke in your friendship group that always has a girlfriend.
At least, that’s what the general consensus was. But Davey, a 25-year-old carpenter from Sydney, has spoken about the pain he was hiding in the Bachelorette mansion while trying (and failing) to date Sam Frost.

I think the fact that he didn't tell her about losing 2 friends during the show 100% proves Sam's assessment of him was right; That he is a larrikin who loves his mates but isn't mature enough to discuss the tough stuff.
He seemed exactly as this article portrays him. He will be perfect for someone, but he wasn't perfect for Sam, for the reasons she stated when she let him go.
Pfft. You could tell he was a 'bro' from day one. Saying women break up with him because he's too nice? That's not a thing and definitely not with him seeing as he taunted and teased every other contestant every time we saw him around them. He also kissed Sam without her permission which is clearly sexual assault. It's horrible that his friends died but let's not pretend he's an angel because of it.
