Breastfeeding is yet another domain where no matter what they do, women just can’t win.
It’s such a divisive issue that mums, including plus-size model and mum-of-two Tess Holliday, have started to share photos of themselves feeding their babies in an attempt to normalise breastfeeding.
In an Instagram post shared earlier today, Holliday is pictured with her two-week-old baby boy Bowie. The black and white photo shows her newborn latched to her breast, as she feeds him lying down.

Maybe we are getting the language wrong around breastfeeding ?Maybe instead of here is an "intimate" breast feeding picture, it should be here is yet another "normal" breastfeeding picture. Just a thought. Might help the prudish anti boob police stop seeing boobs as intimate body parts and start seeing them as feeding vessels.
Humanity at its most basic and primal and necessary. As you say, there is simply no room for prudishness (or modesty most of the time - that moment where you realise you answered door with one boob hanging out and wondered why delivery guy looked at you strangely....)!
