Tammin Sursok told us about the $30 treatment that saved her hair.

After landing a role on Home and Away at just 16, Tammin Sursok has been a staple on our screens ever since, moving on to the sparkle of Hollywood to play memorable characters on shows such as The Young and the Restless and Pretty Little Liars

These days, the Australia actress lives in the US where she's currently shooting in an upcoming movie, hosts two successful podcasts and runs a production company with her director husband Sean McEwen. She's also the mother of two daughters.

Yep. She's a busy woman.

Yet, somehow we managed to wrangle her onto an episode of You Beauty's In Her Bag to talk all things... well, beauty! And goodness, did she deliver on the insider tricks and tips. (She did).

Watch: Tammin Sursok on Home and Away. Post continues.

Our most pressing question for Sursok? Her hair.

How does her newly blonde hair, dyed for an upcoming role, still look so g-damn healthy and shiny? And how can we get our hair like that, too?

"I recently went blonde for a role," Sursok told You Beauty host Lucy Neville. "I had very dark hair and for the movie they said, 'you can only take the movie if you're blonde' and I said 'I'm not going to take the movie because I don't want to ruin my hair'."

Honestly, trying to fix bleached, damaged hair is no joke, friends!

"Then my husband said to me, 'Are you an actor or do you care about your hair?' and I said, 'You know what, you're right. I have to dye my hair!'"

"So, in one day I went from dark to blonde and I really had to be careful with breakage — and it wasn't great for the first six months."

Luckily, Sursok had a tight team of heavy lifters in her haircare armoury.

Enter: Davines ESSENTIALS Love Smooth Conditioner, $47.

"I've got very curly dry hair. If you have thin or more oily hair, I don't know if this would be as great for you, but for someone who really struggles with breakage and my hair being fuzzy, it's a game changer."

Also on high rotation? IGK GOOD BEHAVIOUR Spirulina Protein Smoothing Spray, $52.

"It's like a keratin spray that you use when your hair is dry. And then when you use your tongs, it actually seals the end of your hair. It smells really good too... I love that product so much."

However, according to Sursok, there's one particular miracle product that takes top spot in her hair routine — Salon Only SO Magic 28 in 1, $30.

And okay but TWENTY-EIGHT IN ONE.

Working as a lightweight styling treatment, it smooths, softens, reduces frizz and offers UV protection (plus a whole lot more), all in one clever little bottle.

How good!

With ingredients like Australian Caviar Lime, cocoa and mango butters as well as a blend of oils (including macadamia oil), it works to seal the hair cuticle and protects hair from colour fading, pollution, and thermal styling. It also promises to reconstruct and strengthen the hair, preventing split ends and hair breakage.

And yes, it also soothes dry scalps.

So. Many. Benefits.

"It's my favorite leave-in conditioner, hands down," said Sursok.

Here's what it looks like:

Also in her armoury? Olaplex Bond Building treatment for when she feels her hair is "breaking off."

"It had a bad rap for a second, but I really think it's a good product. I use it once a month or use the treatment once every two weeks but just don't use it all the time."
