The photos are beautiful, but many of her commenters didn’t think so.
Daughter of a formula 1 billionare, Tamara Ecclestone, 30, is a huge advocate for breastfeeding. After all, this is the same celebrity mum who slipped her liquid gold into her husband’s tea. (To read more about it, click here.)
So for Ecclestone, feeding her daughter Sophia in public is no big deal. But a photo she shared on her Instagram account in which she feeds Sophia at a public pool has stirred some controversy.
Ecclestone is currently on her ninth holiday for the year, captioning the image with, “All that swimming is thirsty work.” To which one commenter immediately questioned the safety of feeding a child in a pool.
"Just a question (think it's ace by the way) but is it an issue that there's probably chlorine in that pool and therefore on her bikini top and therefore on her breast, anyone?" they wrote.
To which another responded, "No it's not an issue. Babies swallow water all the time when they're swimming. A tiny bit on her skin won't do any harm."
One commenter suggested Ecclestone was only sharing the image to spark controversy in the first place. "Don't you all get it? Celebrities post these types of pictures for controversy, whether they admit it or not. It's like the cool thing for celeb mums to do right now. I breastfeed but won't post this, I just don't see the point," they explained.
