Well, it turns out I wasn't the only one who enjoyed that show full of nostalgia. The reviews are in, and most people agree: that was one of the best Super Bowl halftime shows of all time.
Here are the best reactions to the epic celebration of hip-hop.
Best halftime show ever!

The celebration of Dr Dre.
The finale comes with the whole group onstage together for a performance of the iconic 'Still D.R.E.', the perfect closer.
And just like that, it's over. How was that 15 minutes? It went by so fast!
What a show. So many legends on stage, and so many nostalgic bangers!

Days ago, Dre said this type of halftime event should've happened a long time ago.
"This should have happened a long time ago as far as hip hop (goes). Hip hop is the biggest genre of music on the planet right now so it's crazy it took all of this and all of this time for us to be recognised. We're going to do a fantastic show and we're going to do it so big that they can't deny us in the future."
He's right - and they proved it tonight with a spectacular show.
It's clear the show, although it included so many huge names, was all about celebrating the absolute icon that is Dr Dre and his massive contribution to music.
Eminem brings mom's spaghetti, and a Colin Kaepernick tribute.
Is there anything quite like the opening of Eminem's 'Lose Yourself'? Nothing hits like those opening notes when you know every word to that opening.
Em is now 49 - can you believe! - and sounds just as crisp as he always does.

You can hear the entire stadium rapping along with this, and it's really bloody cool.
He ends his performance by taking a lengthy knee, a reference to NFL player Colin Kaepernick previously taking a knee ahead of NFL games to comment on racial injustice.
Before the show, media reported the performers were asked not to make the protest signal during the show, but Eminem did it anyway.
Oh, and not to freak you out or anything, but Eminem's daughter Hailie is now 26. Here's our deep dive on his family: You might not know it, but Eminem has three daughters. Here's where they are now.
Kendrick Lamar and his many DREs.
Next is Kendrick Lamar and his pack of DREs, paying homage to the legend that is Dr Dre.
He performs 'm.A.A.d City' and 'Alright', which is probably the biggest set list surprise of the night.

Side note: Dr Dre and Kendrick are both from Compton and Snoop is from Long Beach, so it's extra special for these three to be playing in front of 70,000(!!!) people in nearby Inglewood.
Mary J. Blige kills it.
The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul is here, bringing some major glam for a performance of 'Family Affair' and 'No More Dramas'.
It was a slight change of pace, but there is not much Mary J. Blige can't pull off.

Her voice is out of this world, and she's scoring the biggest love on Twitter.
Also... where did she get those boots? Asking for a friend!
A surprise 50 Cent performance.
The rumours were true! Leaked footage earlier in the week showed 50 Cent rehearsing, and here he is with a surprise performance of 'In Da Club'.
So far, this set is so bloody nostalgic. I remember bopping to this as a 11-year-old with absolutely no idea what it was about.
Wow. @50cent #PepsiHalftime pic.twitter.com/8UlJW57gEX

50 appeared upside down, and no - your TV or laptop was not having a moment. This is how he appeared in the song's music video way back in 2003.
What a tune!
The show begins with Dr Dre and Snoop D.O. Double G.
And we're off! This is going to be banger after banger...
Dr Dre begins the set sitting in a studio set, because of course. He's probably the most influential producer in hip-hop.

First up, Snoop Dogg joins him onstage for a medley of 'D.O. Double G', 'The Next Episode' and 'California Love'.
No Tupac hologram, but how cool is this set!
It's almost time...
It's officially halftime! The performers are here, and stage is set.

Welcome to our Super Bowl halftime show live feed.
Hello everyone!
Welcome to Mamamia's live feed of the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show.
This year, the Cincinnati Bengals are facing the Los Angeles Rams at Super Bowl 56 in Los Angeles, California. But... we're not here to talk about that. Sure, it might be the biggest day of the year in American sport, but more importantly, it's a huge day in music and entertainment.
Super Bowl halftime shows ALWAYS deliver, not just with epic performances, but with huge viral moments, memes and reactions. Remember Katy Perry's left shark? What about that time they happened to play football either side of a Beyonce concert in 2013? Oh, and absolutely everything about Shakira and JLo's 2020 show?
This year, the halftime event will feature Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar. Yeah, no biggie. Just some of the biggest names in hip-hop ever.
There have already been plenty of rumours swirling about what to expect, including a possible 50 Cent appearance and a Tupac hologram, so there's going to be plenty to discuss!
The show is expected to take place around 12pm AEDT, give or take some time depending on the progress of the footy game. You can watch live on 7Plus.
Follow along with us as we enjoy the guaranteed wild ride that is the Super Bowl halftime show.
