Game of Thrones star rips apart the paparazzi for following Stranger Things kids.

Attitudes towards child actors have, once again, come under the spotlight with the treatment of the stars of Stranger Things under scrutiny.

Following a number of incidents where the actors were followed by paparazzi or ‘sexualised’ by adults, Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner, has criticised the behaviour.

Posting on Twitter, the 21-year-old described the adults who waited and followed children as ‘super weird’.

Earlier this week, fans abused 14-year-old Finn Wolfhard for not stopping to say hello to them as he walked into his hotel. While some have said this is ‘part of his job’ as an actor, Turner defends their right to be kids.

Former NBC Executive, Mike Sington, came under fire for his comments that 13-year-old, Millie Bobby Brown “just grew up in front of our eyes”.

He has since apologised for the remark, claiming it was never his “intent” to sexualise her. Video also emerged of a 27-year-old model asking Wolfhard to call her in four years.

Speaking to the media, the actor said that he found the comments “gross”.
