1. ‘Everyone thinks I’m the Unicorn.’ Sophie Monk responds to rumours she’s on The Masked Singer.

According to some people on the internet, Sophie Monk is the celebrity hiding inside the unicorn disguise on The Masked Singer Australia.

Speaking to Kyle and Jackie O on KissFM this Friday, the 39-year-old joked about the persistent, albeit incorrect rumour.

“People dead set think I’m on the Masked Singer,” she said.

“Every interview I’m doing, talking about Love Island, they’re like ‘we know you’re on the Masked Singer‘.”

It’s almost as if they don’t know how television contract works. Monk is obviously currently in Fiji hosting Channel 9’s Love Island, while The Masked Singer Australia is screening on Channel 10.

Instead she picked her Bachelorette predecessor, Georgia Love, to be Unicorn, which can’t be true, because her clues indicate that the “incredibly social” celebrity didn’t find fame through reality TV.

“That’s not where my fame comes from, unicorns do not believe in taking shortcuts,” they said.

But of course, we know that there’s no way either Bachelorette could be Unicorn, because it’s obviously Deni Hines hiding underneath the costume.

We’re almost certain of it.

2. Miley Cyrus has apparently been spotted kissing Cody Simpson. But we’re not buying it.

Two weeks after it was reported that Miley Cyrus had ended her brief relationship with Kaitlynn Carter, there’s gossip on the grapevine that’s linked the ‘Slide Away’ singer to the environmentalist and musician.

Let us explain.

E!News exclusively reports that an eyewitness saw the pair in the middle of a drink and sushi run at a LA grocery store.

Damning evidence indeed.

They also added that they shared a “quick kiss,” while discussing the finer nuances between a ‘spicy tuna’ or ‘dragon’ roll.

Okay, so we made the last bit up, but either way, there’s no footage: photographic, video, or otherwise to support this theory, so make of that what you will.

While Miley and Cody have never been romantically linked, it does seem like the pair are friends. The 26-year-old was spotted at the Aussie’s 18th birthday in 2015, and have been photographed at parties and events since.

In 2015 after Cody’s split from then-girlfriend Gigi Hadid, a source even confirmed to E! News that Miley and Cody are simply “super good friends,” with “absolutely nothing romantic” going on between them.

3. “There was no ‘2am date with Tyga’.” Kylie Jenner finally addresses her split with Travis Scott.

We'll be honest, we were starting to get nervous. We barely go 13 minutes without hearing from the Kardashian Jenners, then a bombshell drops about Kylie Jenner and her partner Travis Scott splitting up and ... crickets. Not a peep.

But after several days of silence, the reality star/beauty entrepreneur has finally spoken up.

In a short message posted to Twitter, Kylie addressed tabloid intel that she paid a middle-of-the-night visit to a recording studio where her ex-partner, Tyga, was working. Total coincidence, folks.

She followed that up with, "Travis and I are on great terms and our main focus right now is [1-year-old daughter] Stormi. Our friendship and our daughter is priority."

Yep. "Friendship." Just when we were feeling a little better...

4. Busy Phillips nearly divorced her husband because he wasn't pulling his weight with parenting duties.

Ah, the mental load. That begrudging weight we carry while performing the tasks our partners/children/housemates have [usually inadvertently] dumped on us.

For actor-turned-talkshow host, Busy Philipps, it nearly spelled the end of her 12-year marriage.

Speaking to Harper's Bazaar, the mother of two said she was "fully out the door" when her film director husband, Marc Silverstein, promised to take his share of the parenting duties.

"Marc was like, 'I'll do anything.' And I was like, 'OK, then do everything. Because I have done it all, all by myself, and I'm done, dude,'" she said.

"I wasn't expecting anything from him, but what we ended up doing was creating our own system."

Marc is now a stay-at-home dad to their daughters, 11-year-old Birdie and six-year-old Cricket.

“Today,” adds Philipps, “Marc literally spends so much time with the girls that they accidentally call me ‘Dad’ sometimes. Like when did that ever happen?”

5. "We are so in love." The Bachelor's Simone Ormesher has welcomed a baby girl.

It’s been a big year for our Aussie Bachelor alums, we’ve seen engagements, break-ups and watched astrophysicist Matt choose Chelsie in a frankly nail-biting finale (we can’t have been the only ones a little… stressed towards the end of the episode).

And now, Bachelor alum Simone Ormesher, from Matty J’s season and the inaugural season of Bachelor in Paradise, has given birth to a baby girl named Gracie-Mae Thorne.

The first-time mum shared the news on Instagram on Friday.

“Welcome to the world Gracie-Mae Kathleen Thorne (Kathleen named after my Nanna),” the personal trainer started.
