Here's 13 pieces to inject the Logies metallic look into your everyday wardrobe.

Aside from Tom Gleeson’s controversial win last night, there’s one memorable aspect we just can’t shake from the 2019 Logie Awards; the sea of glorious metallic gowns on the red carpet.

The Gold Coast ceremony was everything we had hoped for and more when it came to red carpet fashion, but while full skirts, tulle, lace and feathers made a notable appearance, it’s the metallic looks we’re still obsessing over.

But while we wish we had an event on our social calendars that would warrant an outfit as glamorous as these, we’ve instead spent the day trawling our favourite online stores in search of pared-back options we can… sit down comfortably in at work.

And boy are our shipping bags full.

Here are our tips for injecting the trend into your everyday wardrobe.

Paired with boots, sneakers, heeled sandals, a t-shirt, slinky blouse or knit, a midi skirt is a season-round staple you can whip out any day of the week. It’s safe to say we’re pretty obsessed with this silhouette.

The options below both combine the metallic trend and the flattering skirt shape. We would like them all, please.
