Sophie Monk was not a very happy camper after radio host Kyle Sandilands put her on the spot during last night’s ARIA awards.
The duo were on stage presenting the award for Best Pop Release, when Sandilands joked about Sophie’s time in girl-group Bardot.
“Now Soph, we just heard your song when we came out, how many ARIAs did you win when you were in Bardot?” Kyle asked, forcing Sophie to sheepishly answer, “None”.
But Kyle didn't stop there, asking Sophie about bringing "the girls back together again".
The awkward part? The girls definitely do not get along.
Speaking on the Kyle and Jackie O show this morning, Sandilands revealed that the singer and model "went mad" after they got off stage.
"She’s like, ‘Put me on the spot about putting the girls back ... we never got on!'" he told his co-host Jackie.
"We all thought they were loving each other!"
Bardot formed in 2000 after appearing on music reality show Popstars. After string of number one singles, the group split almost two years later, saying they needed a "well-earned break".
Rumours swirled that Tiffany Wood's desire to pursue a solo music career was to blame for the group's split at the height of their success. But another member of the group - Sally Polihronas - revealed she had "wanted out" of the group "for a long time".

Yeah Sophie I wouldn't worry too much about Kyle - he's a moron!
I really don't understand how he commands such a large salary...he is punishing and unpleasant and unfunny
It's because every time he opens his mouth, media outlets write a story about it. That gets more people to tune in to his show to see what he'll say next, which then brings in plenty of advertising dollars.
