With only 10 weeks to go in her pregnancy, Sophie Cachia is positively glowing.
But the popular blogger, widely known as The Young Mummy, has revealed her second time ’round is bringing changes she never experienced with her now 2-year-old son Bobby.
The influencer, who has 250,000 followers under her belt, posted a selfie on SnapChat on Thursday afternoon, writing: “Skin pigmentation has kicked in too. Never got this last pregnancy.”
Pigmentation - more casually known as "the mask of pregnancy" - is thought to affect approximately half of all expecting mothers. Funnily enough, Sophie shares the symptom with another of our favourite Aussie mums, Zoe Foster Blake, who shared her experience with the pesky condition in July.
"Hyperpigmentation is the biggest bitch in bitch town," Zoe told her Instagram followers at the time. "The worse it gets, the harder it is to shift."
Pregnancy skin aside, last Friday 26-year-old Sophie told Mamamia that son Bobby is definite he's getting a little sister.
"I say to him, 'Is it your little brother or is it your little sister?' and he always says, 'That's my sister!'," Sophie said.
"He rubs my belly and says 'Hello little sister.' I haven't prompted him to do that ... he always says, 'Not my brother, that's my sister!'"

What are these people lacking in their lives that they feel the need to constantly promote themselves doing nothing. Obviously no one listens to them at home ! Not that I blame them as this woman is downright boring. She's done nothing special - she does nothing special - she's just desperately lacking in something.
She is getting to Bec Judd levels of overexposure.
Soon she'll be at Roxy Jacenko levels and at that point we can all go home.
