She can’t wait much longer though.
Colombian actress and Modern Family star, Sofia Vergara has spoken about wanting more children with her fiancée even though she is currently going through a tough battle with her ex-fiancée over frozen embryos.
The 42-year-old opened up to Redbook Magazine saying, “I don’t want to be 50 with a baby.”
Vergara told the magazine, as a single mum to son Manolo who she had when she was 20 years old, that she’s open to the idea of having more kids. Her current fiance, Joe Manganiello, 38 is younger than her and she’s aware that he has never had kids but would really like to have them one day.
"How am I going to say no? I tell him if we're going to do this, we have to do it, like, now, because I don't want to be 50 with a baby," she told Redbook Magazine.
Vergara opened up to the magazine about how she knew that Manganiello was 'the one' - because she just feels so comfortable around him and the relationship is so easy.
"I finally realised that relationships don't need to be so much work," she told the publication. "Ever since we met, it's been so easy. I'm very suspicious. I'm like, 'It's not normal that we've been together for nine months and we haven't had a big fight or anything'."
The Colombian born actress and her now fiancée have been together since 2014 and we are anxiously awaiting their wedding day.
Meanwhile Vergara is locked in a legal battle with her ex, Nick Loeb - the two are battling over two frozen embryos. Loeb is trying to take the embryos to full term using a surrogate, which Vergara doesn't want to do.
The case goes to court again on May 22.
We hope to hear wedding bells and the patter of tiny Vergara-Manganiello baby feet soon because damn will they make gorgeously genetically blessed babies.
