1. “I didn’t know who I was anymore.” Ines Basic on her experience on Married At First Sight.
Ines Basic has opened up about her tough experience on Married At First Sight.
Speaking to Who, the 28-year-old admitted that she was “mentally traumatised” when the show aired earlier this year.
In case you’ve forgotten, Ines was largely painted as the villain in this year’s season of MAFS. Early on in the season, Ines, who was ‘married’ to Bronson Norrish on the show, had an affair with Sam Ball.
“I was prescribed valium after the main filming and was in therapy. I was struggling with the whole Sam thing and how foul I was treated during filming,” Ines alleged in an interview with Who.
“My producer worked me until I didn’t know who I was anymore and I almost got assaulted on set on multiple occasions,” she claimed.
Ines also admitted that during the reunion dinner party, she was on “heavy medication” and now “can’t remember” that night.
“It’s approaching two-and-a-half months since I’ve been off medication and I won’t be going back that way again,” she said.
2. I’m a Celeb’s Simone Holtznagel shares the struggle of living with E cup breasts.
Simone Holtznagel has opened up about the struggle of living with E+ cup breasts.
The Playboy model, who previously appeared on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, warned other women to avoid breast enlargement surgery.
“As the owner of E+ tiddies, why anyone would want their natural boobs enlarged to my size, is beyond me,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories.
“Big boobs suck, they hurt, your back hurts,” she continued.
“I’ll sell them for f*cking cheap. Just get it off my chest.”
The Australian model first shot to fame when she appeared on the seventh season of Australia’s Next Top Model.
She then went on to appear on the cover of Playboy magazine and model from brands including Guess and American Denim.
3. Bella Thorne breaks down after TV hosts criticise her nude photo scandal.
It’s 2019 and a woman has insinuated another woman is at fault for hackers publishing her private nude photos.
Why? Because she shouldn’t have taken them in the first place.
*Sigh*.
Speaking on The View this week, 63-year-old actress Whoopi Goldberg said “I don’t care how old you are. … You don’t take nude photos of yourself,” in reference to a hacking scandal fellow actress Bella Thorne was recently involved in.
“Once you take that picture, it goes into the cloud and it’s available to any hacker who wants it, and if you don’t know that in 2019, that this is an issue, I’m sorry, you don’t get to do that,” she added and good Lord is that really how the cloud works? Yikes.
But the 21-year-old hit back at the veteran actress, posting an emotional video response on her Instagram story. In the video, she called out Whoopi for shaming her sexuality, and pointed out the damage of a woman publicly telling another woman what she should or shouldn’t do with her body.
“Shame on you Whoopi. Shame on you for putting that public opinion out there like that for every young girl to think that they’re disgusting for even taking a photo like that. Shame on you,” she said through tears.
Thorne added that she was supposed to make an appearance on The View but was reconsidering because she doesn’t “want to be beaten down by a bunch of older women for my body and my sexuality.”
“I don’t really want you guys talking about your views to young girls because I would not want my daughter to learn that and I would never say that to her,” she explained.
“I’m offended for anyone who has ever taken a sexy photo. I am offended for Jennifer Lawrence who feels publicly raped. I am offended for every person who has committed suicide for someone leaking their nudes.”
The former Disney star also posted the leaked photo herself in an effort to “take the power back” from the hacker.
4. Can we please take a moment of silence for Lindsay Lohan’s abandoned Mykonos beach club?
Once home to booming DJ sets and echoing “whoops” from excited holidaymakers, now, all you can hear at Lindsay Lohan’s abandoned Mykonos beach club is the sad sound of tumbleweeds rolling by.
And on social media – glossy images of influencers in designer resort wear have been replaced with grinning tourists throwing peace signs in front of the eerie, fading facade.
The dream is over.
After opening in 2018 as both a club space and the set for her MTV show, Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club, Lohan Beach House Mykonos has closed its doors for good following the series failing to be renewed for a second season.
Not only was it (we assume) a source of great memories for those who actually managed to visit the short-lived beachside party space, it gifted us the iconic viral footage of Lindsay dancing like a mum while clinging to a DJ booth like her fourth tequila shot just hit.
Aka every single one of us on a Saturday night.
Ahh, memories.
RIP, Lohan Beach House Mykonos, it was fun while it lasted.
5. “Don’t make me resent the baby” J-Law’s hilarious texts to new mum Amy Schumer.
Nothing changes a friendship more than when kids enter the picture.
Honestly, it can be... tough.
For Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence, it's really no different.
Earlier this week, new mum and comedian Amy Schumer shared a hilarious (largely one-sided) text exchange between the pair.
"You up? I have questions about Handmaids Tale. It's an emergency," J-Law asked Schumer.
"Amy!!! What did she do on season one to deserve being in the gallows on season two? I can't remember where I left off. Are you asleep because of the baby??? Are you asleep before 11? Is this because of the baby? Don't make me resent the baby," she continued.
"Wow, you're really asleep before 11. I'll be damned."
Eventually, Schumer did respond... it turns out she's just a little slow to get to her phone these days.
