Can you help? Missing NSW teacher and mother hasn't been seen for a week.

Police are desperately searching for a woman who has been missing for a week.

A 54-year-old school teacher from the Northern New South Wales Coast has not been seen since last Saturday night.

Sharon Edwards was reported missing last Tuesday, after she failed to turn up for work at Coutts Crossing public school.

Police report she was last seen around 10 or 11pm at a popular night spot in Grafton, on Saturday, 14 March.

According to The Guardian, Ms Edwards has not been in contact with her husband or children.

Detectives have searched two homes, including the Grafton home Ms Edwards shares with her husband and a Lawrence property where she previously resided.

Police in the Coffs/Clarence Local Area Command are desperately seeking information.

“Sharon is a dedicated teacher at a local school and was due to teach classes but failed to attend,” a police media statement announced.

“Police and family hold grave concerns for her welfare as it is extremely out of character; she has no known medical conditions and has not made contact with relatives.”

Ms Edwards is described as Caucasian in appearance, with a fair complexion, short blond hair and is of medium build.
