Looking for a paid promoter for your business? Maybe don’t hire Scott Disck.
The father of Kourtney Kardashian‘s three children just committed a super-awkward product placement fail– and he’s being roasted online for it.
Disick, 32, posted an image of himself posing alongside Boo Tea UK protein shake powder yesterday.
The post was apparently a paid endorsement, meaning Disick agreed to post an image the product alongside a caption about it.
No big deal there; paid endorsements are pretty standard nowadays, especially for ex-reality TV stars and the like.
But Disick failed to double-check the caption before posting… And accidentally copied the posting instructions along with the prescribed endorsement.
#NO #FacePalm #ProofreadPlsScott
“Here you go, at 4pm EST, write the below. Caption: Keeping up with the summer workout routine with my morning @booteauk protein shake!,” Disick’s caption read.
The mistake was later fixed… but not before half the World Wide Web picked up on the cringeworthy error.
One Instagram user wrote: “Bless you Scott, not paid to think just paid to promote”.
Another said: “You had one job Scott”.
“Wow! Just wow,” wrote one commenter on Twitter.
Disick, who is also known as Lord Disick after paying to adopt the royal title in Britain (lol), has previously advertises everything from teeth whitening to the Lyft car service.
Jezebel reports that he now makes between USD$15,000 and $20,000 per sponsored post, so he's no newbie to the rules of paid endorsements.
We're guessing Disick is doing some serious sucking up to Boo Tea UK right now.
Although you know what they say about any press being good press... Maybe he's just laughing all the way to the bank.
Some more Disick photos, sans terrible caption:

Well, as it happens this has had 1000 times the exposure. The cynic in me says it might have been planned that way, with the joke actually on everyone that is mocking him.
