Celeb in 5: Saturday's best entertainment and gossip news.

1. Sam Frost just took the piss out of Blake Garvey for Halloween. Is forever our queen.

Although we really had no clue that Halloween was a legitimate thing Australians do, all props go to Sam Frost for taking out the country's best Halloween costume overnight for dressing as... herself.

"Reliving my nightmare.. getting engaged for 12.3 seconds on national TV Lelelelel (sic)," she wrote on Instagram story, posing with a rose and flashing right back to when she first starred on The Bachelor.

Of course, Frost is referring to the time he-who-shall-not-be-named-but-he-who-we-shall-call-Glake-Bervey proposed to her on national TV, only to turn around a few days later and say, "Whoopsie! I meant the other blonde one!"

While we're here, can we take a minute to acknowledge the fact Frost was at Anna Heinrich's sister's Halloween party? Are all the Bachelor alum related or something?

2. EXCUSE US, but Alexander Skarsgård is now bald. BALD. Like... very bald.

In news we had no idea would be a blip on our radar, let alone something we'd ever care about, Mr Alexander Skarsgård got a haircut and now he doesn't look like Mr Alexander Skarsgård anymore.

To be more specific, Alexander Skarsgård is boasting that funky half-bald, sort-of-donut stage haircut now and it's making headlines across the world.

Because this is news we don't necessarily understand, we took to Google: "Why is Alexander Skarsgård bald now?"

And?

According to Yahoo and TMZ, the donut, half-moon hair cut (not its technical name) is believed to be for his role in Kim Nguyen's drama The Hummingbird Project.

As you were.

3. Singer Teddy Geiger announces gender transition.

American singer-songwriter Teddy Geiger, who released the hit song 'For You I Will' in 2006, has announced their gender transition.

In response to the question, "Tell us, why do you look differently lately," Geiger posted to Instagram, "I am transitioning. I started talking about it with a couple of my close friends and family about a month ago and it's given me the courage to start the process... Love it or hate it, this is who I've been for a looooong time..."

Geiger is currently mentoring 19-year-old Canadian singer Shawn Mendes.

4. Selena Gomez speaks about the woman who saved her life. World weeps happy tears.

Selena Gomez, US singer and actress, has spoken about the woman behind her life-saving kidney transplant which took place mid this year.

"I found out I needed to get a kidney transplant due to my Lupus," Gomez posted to Instagram in September.

In an exclusive interview with US program Today, Gomez says, "I didn't want to ask a single person in my life and that was the day, when I came home, I found out she volunteered and did it."

Her friend Francia Raisa, who sits next to her during the interview, donated her kidney.

"I guess I got to the point where it was really, kind of, life or death," the Bad Liar singer says, before crediting Raisa with saving her life.

"I just hope that this inspires people to feel good that there are really good people in the world," the 25-year-old concludes, with tears streaming down her cheeks.

5. This was the lowest point in Megan Fox's illustrious career.

Megan Fox, at age 31, was fired from the third instalment of Transformers and replaced by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

In an interview with Cosmopolitan UK, Fox admits that being let go so publicly was "the low point of my career".

It came soon after Fox referred to the film's director Michael Bay as "like Hitler on his sets".

"He wants to create this insane, infamous madman reputation," she told Wonderland magazine in 2009.

In retrospect, the actress and model says that she should have apologised, but refused.

"I was so self-righteous at 23, I couldn’t see [that] it was for the greater good. I really thought I was Joan of Arc," she tells Cosmopolitan.

"It hurt me and a lot of other people. However, that darkness that descended caused enormous and brisk spiritual growth. Once I realised I [had] brought it on myself, it was an invaluable learning experience, looking back on it."
