Sam Frost: "Richie was my real runner-up."

If you thought it was weird that Richie Strahan didn’t make it into the final two of The Bachelorette, you were right.

It turns out that there was a lot more going on between Sam Frost and Richie Strahan than many of us realised.

Frost recently told NW that Richie, a 30-year-old rope technician, was her “real runner-up”.

She said she chose Michael Turnbull over Strahan because she didn't want to hurt his feelings by taking him through to the finale.

Frost, 26, said the tearful decision to let him go was a tough one.

"It was better that he left when he did...I would have struggled to let him down that way."

The reality star's confession comes amid rumours that she and The Bachelorette winner Sasha Mielczarek, 30, are planning to marry in a Fijian resort.

New Idea has revealed that the new couple is currently house-hunting in Sydney, and the magazine has also claimed that they will exchange vows soon.

Frost told the magazine: "He's the one for me, signed, sealed, delivered, I'm done" while Mielczarek said "We'll move in, travel together, hopefully not kill each other...And then I'll drop a knee."

Whatever their plans, we just hope the pair are enjoying being able to go public with their relationship finally.
