You’ve got to give it to them – Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been pretty generous with the details of their love story and royal wedding thus far.
But the only thing we really want to know is the one detail the soon-to-be royal is keeping to herself.
The wedding dress.
Because we are all inherently impatient and simply cannot wait until May 19, we’ve gone and found out who is maybe, probably designing Meghan Markle’s wedding dress.
Side note – here are five extravagant wedding dresses to marvel at. Post continues after video.
The Daily Mail claim ‘multiple royal and fashion industry sources’ have told them Meghan chose Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo of Ralph & Russo to design her wedding dress.
The publication estimates her dress, which sources say will be ‘heavily beaded’ and ‘took hundreds of hours of manpower’ to make, will cost around £100,000 ($179,448 AUD).
Oh, and Harry’s family will be footing the bill, they said.
The Australian born, London-based husband-and-wife design team are known for their delicate detailing and modern, whimsical silhouettes (i.e. everything a royal wedding dress should, nay, must be.)
They've also been in the running since Meghan wore one of their haute couture designs - the $75,000 US ($99,480 AUD) sheer sequined and black tulle ballgown - for her engagement photos with Prince Harry in November, 2017.
Ralph & Russo have dressed high-profile celebrities including Sophia Vergara, Elizabeth Banks, Beyonce and Zendaya.
Most recently, they designed Aussie model Shanina Shaik's dress for her wedding to DJ Ruckus in the Bahamas.
Choosing a British designer to create her wedding dress wouldn't be a departure from tradition - The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton wore an Alexander McQueen gown designed by Sarah Burton, and the late Princess Diana's infamous ivory taffeta gown was designed by Welsh designers David and Elizabeth Emanuel.
And interestingly, Ladbrokes were also forced to suspend betting on Meghan's dress designer after seeing 'a flurry of activity' around Ralph & Russo in late March.
Regardless of which dress Meghan will wear to walk down the aisle at Windsor's St George's Chapel, there's one wedding dress tradition she'll definitely be following.
According to a spokesperson for Kensington Palace, the first time Harry will see his fiance's wedding dress will be when she's walking towards him on their wedding day .
"That tradition is very important to them," they said in a press briefing on May 4.
Oh gee, can it just hurry up and be May 19 already?
Cheers.
